What Is an Independent Film?
In the world of filmmaking, even talented directors often go through the struggle of visiting multiple studios, waiting for hours in front of production offices, just hoping for a chance to get their projects approved. Everyone knows the big names like Warner Bros., Marvel Studios, and many other major production houses.
But instead of relying on those big studios, some filmmakers choose to produce their own films independently. These independent films (or indie films) often turn out to be masterpieces, earning global recognition and prestigious awards.
Here are a few must-watch independent films.
Get Out (2017)
