When you come home from the office after a hectic day at work, and it continues late into the night. Or maybe you have mid-semester exams and need to stay up all the night to prepare - and you don't want any distractions around you.
Then Here Comes the Soundtrack's!
Yes, you read that right! Instead of listening to the same old songs on loop — which can get pretty boring sometimes — or watching random movies on YouTube on the side, why not explore something fresh?
So, what are we waiting for?
Let’s get started!
Searching (2019)
Directed by: Aneesh Chaganty
Music by: Torin Borrowdale
When I saw the jaw-dropping reviews for this small feature film directed by an Indian-origin filmmaker, I immediately booked tickets and watched it on the big screen with my buddies. It’s an emotional thriller about a missing daughter, and the haunting score gives you a spectacular cinematic experience.

Terminator: Dark Fate (2019)
Directed by: Tim Miller
Music by: Junkie XL
This Deadpool director’s venture, produced by James Cameron, released with high expectations at the box office — though it didn’t quite create wonders. However, music director Junkie XL made a strong impact with his intense background score. Some even called it better than the previous installment. He’s known for his energetic compositions in Mad Max: Fury Road and Deadpool, among others.

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017)
Directed by: Martin McDonagh
Music by: Carter Burwell
Frances McDormand plays a mother seeking justice for her daughter who was raped and murdered, while Woody Harrelson delivers an exceptional performance as a local cop. The soul-stirring background score beautifully deepens the film’s emotions — it might even bring tears to your eyes.

Crawl (2019)
Directed by: Alexandre Aja
Music by: Max Aruj & Steffen Thum
According to New York Magazine critic Angelica Jade Bastién, “Crawl is a great example of a simple story exceedingly well-told. It’s a bloody adventure full of teeth-gnawing turns of fortune, mordant wit, vicious gator kills, and surprising tenderness — all packed into a blessedly fast 87 minutes.” And yes, the score plays a big part in making that experience so gripping.
