A huge billboard appeared in front of a cinema hall known as Sri Vishwanath Theater, which is famous for its mass releases of popular star movies. It celebrates the surprise visits of the cast and crew who performed in the film on its release day. Ardent fans all over erect banners, paste posters, perform anointing for the huge cutouts of their favorite actors, and burst crackers in the theater premises.
One Same Day
Anil went to watch the latest Friday release as a common audience member to experience the joy of the first day, first show. The massive crowd all around made him anxious and tenacious. Then, he saw a gang dancing in front of the main entrance. The ticket counter appeared with a House-full board. The black ticket, it appeared like a lot of money, and he was confused about what to do next. The moment he understood the situation, watching the movie would be critical.
He thought of mingling with a gang as a fanboy. He drew attention among the gang with his actions. By showering pieces of tabloids and a bunch of flowers on a poster, he impressed the surroundings and made sure that he was one among them.
As the movie was about to take off in a few minutes, all started to rush into the entry door of the cinema hall. In the flow, he went on but was caught by the ticket holder near the entry door. He asked, “Where is your ticket?”
“In my pocket, but someone stole it right now,” Anil replied. The ticket holder put him aside and started to allow others. Later, someone from the gang came to the entrance and took Anil inside.
After entering, he found the same row where all the fans were seated and was called by one among them to sit in between. He felt equal and super excited to watch the film. All carried a bunch of old tabloids under their seats. For each song and action scene, woos were raised by the entire crowd. The front row was covered with Lungi boy steps, whistles rolled all over, paper pieces flashed on the screen and landed on the heads and pockets of the audience. Couples enjoyed their space. Review writers started pinpointing the film irrespective of the noise. The owner felt happiness, knowing the fact that it was temporary.
Anil felt delighted after the show was completed, no matter how the film went, and claimed himself as a fanboy thereafter. Meanwhile, while continuing to walk back home, he saw the same scenario in another theater as well.
And it did not stop the whole day, doing the same.
